For the record, I was always a fan of Placido Polanco when he was previously with the Phillies, as I imagine most Phillies fans were. His refusal to play third base though was a problem as Chase Utley's development into a full time player was being held back at the time.

Polanco was traded to Detroit in exchange for Ugueth Urbina (ugh) back in 2005. He helped get the tigers to a World Series while Utley became the best all around second baseman in the game of baseball.

Polanco will finally play third base for the team and I am happy about that.
